In that gnarly crusty shell

There's a creature in there somewhere

But she doesn't like being held

She grows the orb within her

While the flesh inside her swells

They want the inner wisdom

But they know not of the pearl

They think the truth thats spoke of

Is in the warm flesh that unfurls

So the pearl of wisdom's hidden

Until the right one comes along

Who knows how to shuck the oyster

And how to sing the song
